PhD in Computer Engineering, specialising in computer vision and artificial intelligence. He has participated in research projects on deep learning architectures for portable and low-cost devices and applications in precision agriculture. He is currently researching and developing algorithms and methods for machine learning (deep) and federated learning, focusing on image and biomedical data analysis.
