FRAMEWORK
The RAILtoLAND project aims to explore the social and educational value of the European cultural landscape, as a common heritage.
It aims to be a catalyst for the consolidation of processes of European identity, social cohesion, creation of local cultures and improvement of human well-being, through innovative tools, applied throughout a train journey.
PROPOSED SOLUTION
Creation of a free mobile application that allows you to experience an interactive journey, discovering the landscape and cultural heritage along the Porto-Vigo railway line.
Available in English, Spanish and Portuguese, it contains explanatory audios about the value and characteristics of the visible and surrounding landscape, and information about more than 30 Points of Interest, as well as 3D models of several buildings of heritage value.
CCG/ZGDV CONTRIBUTION
CCG/ZGDV, through its R&I department, CVIG, is mainly responsible for the design and development of this application, namely in the implementation of the general user interface, through videos, animations and screen transitions, incorporation of 3D models of the view front view of the train and augmented reality technologies.
