Construction sector continues to face significant challenges in health and safety at work, and is one of the sectors with the highest exposure to risks and accidents incidence.
Digital technologies advances, particularly Artificial Intelligence and immersive solutions, are creating new opportunities to develop more effective training methodologies capable of simulating real-life scenarios, promoting active learning and encouraging the adoption of preventive behaviours on construction sites.
PROPOSED SOLUTION
AIGENT project aims to develop an innovative decision-support solution for construction safety by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Reinforcement Learning (RL) with optimised 4D BIM models.
The proposed approach will enable the proactive forecasting, validation and dynamic generation of safety and evacuation plans, as well as the assessment of the safe operation of equipment throughout the various stages of construction process.
CCG/ZGDV CONTRIBUTION
CCG/ZGDV is part of the consortium as an organisation specialising in the development of digital interfaces, visualisation and technologies applied to Industry 4.0.
is responsible for AIGENT development platform, including structuring the database, user interface and integrating the various modules into a functional and scalable solution, thereby contributing to raising the final product technological readiness level (TRL).
His work ensures the platform’s interoperability, usability and robustness – essential requirements for its future industrialisation.
