24 February, 2026

The Knowledge and Technology Transfer (KTT) unit of the CCG/ZGDV Institute has been awarded a Seed Grant for the 2025/2026 edition by the Innovation Growth Lab (IGL), a UK-based global policy lab dedicated to developing more effective policies to increase innovation and productivity.

This distinction recognises the scientific merit and strategic relevance of the proposal submitted by CCG/ZGDV, which focuses on analysing the factors that influence the success of collaboration between researchers and companies in innovation contexts.

The project supported by the Seed Grant aims to examine how researchers adopt engagement strategies with industry and how these approaches determine the outcomes of partnerships between academia and the business sector. The research will seek to identify practices, mechanisms and dynamics that enhance effective knowledge transfer and impact-driven collaboration. This initiative aligns with the mission of CCG/ZGDV’s KTT unit to strengthen knowledge valorisation processes and promote sustainable cooperation models between the scientific system and industry.

The award of this Seed Grant by the Innovation Growth Lab reinforces CCG/ZGDV’s international positioning in applied research and consolidates its contribution to evidence-based approaches in innovation policy and technology transfer.
