CCG/ZGDV integrates an innovative project for child development in the first years of life.
3 February, 2026

The CCG/ZGDV Institute is a partner in the INNChild – Innovation for Child Development project, developed in collaboration with F3M and Prochild, which aims to create an innovative digital solution to support parenting and monitor early childhood development.

The project proposes the research and development of an integrated digital platform for children aged 0 to 3 years, focused on monitoring motor, cognitive, and socio-emotional development. The solution stands out for integrating domain knowledge, grounded in scientific research, enabling parents to experiment with effective stimulation strategies tailored to each child's developmental stage and individual profile.

Unlike existing applications, which are primarily focused on passively monitoring indicators such as sleep, diet, or weight, INNChild relies on a model-based approach to support parenting, grounded in personalised recommendations, scientific evidence, and continuous interaction between the technology and the user.

The project emerges in a context where the importance of the first years of life for the motor, cognitive, emotional, and social development of the child is widely recognised, and it presents itself as an innovative technological response to this social challenge.

With its participation in INNChild, CCG/ZGDV reinforces its role as a Technology and Innovation Centre, promoting the application of advanced digital technologies in areas of high social impact and contributing to the creation of solutions that bring science closer to the real needs of families and society.
