14 November, 2025

CCG/ZGDV and the CESAR Institute (Centre for Advanced Studies and Systems of Recife), one of the most recognised technological innovation institutions in Brazil, have formalised the signing of a strategic cooperation protocol that marks a new chapter in the relationship between the two entities.

This agreement establishes the basis for the joint development of initiatives that promote innovation, applied research, and knowledge transfer between Portugal and Brazil.
The partnership aims to strengthen synergies in emerging technology areas, enabling the creation of advanced solutions that address the digital transformation challenges faced by companies and organisations in both countries. The protocol provides for collaboration on research and development projects, the sharing of specialised skills, and the promotion of training programs, internships, and exchanges between technical and scientific teams.

As a Centre for Technology and Innovation, CCG/ZGDV reinforces, with this partnership, its internationalisation strategy and its commitment to fostering global collaboration networks that broaden the impact of applied research on the economy and society. In turn, the CESAR Institute sees this cooperation as an opportunity to build new bridges with the European scientific and technological ecosystem, promoting the integration of best practices and innovation methodologies.

This collaboration between CCG/ZGDV and the CESAR Institute represents a significant step towards developing joint initiatives that can contribute to the sustainable growth of the Portuguese and Brazilian economies, promoting business competitiveness, modernising productive sectors, and creating value through technology. Both institutions express enthusiasm and determination to initiate projects that strengthen innovation as an engine of transatlantic development.
