_CCG participates in HandsOn@DEIS

HandsOn @ DEIS was an journey that involved, on the 25 of February of 2009, the Department of Engineering Computer Science and Systems of the ISEC, through  a set of workshops destined to promote the computer science domin, technologies and tools.
Some reference companies, like Microsoft, Meticube, Critical Software, ISA, WIT Software, Interacesso, were involved. CCG presented the workshop " Introduction to the programming of PDA's and georeferenciação" where different solutions developed for the CCG applied to the cultural heritage and tourism were presented.
Also was presented the state of the art in terms of " virtual actors" , applied the concrete cases of real use. The part most important of the Workshop consisted of the creation of a first application for PDAs (" Hello World" for PDAs) that it appeals to the GPS.
